Haiku Stairs Hike Poem

Stairway to Heaven Poem

From atop Haiku where earth meets sky,
Where mountains soar and winds fly,
Lofty heights,
Unveils the secrets of Oahu's might.

With sturdy boots and courage bold,
I venture forth and up my tale still untold,
Ascending trails with an eager pace,
Seeking solace in this sacred space.

The air, so crisp and clear,
Uncoiling my burdens I hold dear,
As each step leads me closer still,
To freedom's grasp upon the hill.

Beneath my feet, the ancient ground,
Whispers stories without a sound,
Struggles fought and battles won,
Legends told beneath the sun.

With each breath drawn from the mountain's breath,
I cast aside my fear of death,
For in these heights, I truly see,
Life's fragile beauty, wild and free.

The sun bursts forth, its golden glow,
Illuminates Kaneohe below,
A tapestry of greens and blues,
Revealing nature's brilliant hues.

In these lofty heights, I find,
A sacred space within my mind,
Where dreams take flight and fears subside,
And reflection blossoms from deep inside.
