Frozen In and Sheltering with the Family
1/13/20241 min read
In January's winter's icy embrace, the land is hushed and frozen in place,
Unforgiving cold dances in the air,
Icy white beauty, subzero, an experience rare.
A world of crystal, gleaming and pure,
Where silence whispers, gentle and demure,
Each snowflake falling with delicate grace,
Adorning the earth in a shimmering case.
The breath of life, suspended in the frost,
Time stands still and memories are lost.
Beneath cold skies, a quiet settles in,
As branches glisten in silver and tin,
Though these bitter winds may sting, there is a thrill,
Of resilience, as Montanans rise above the chill,
In subzero's embrace, we learn to endure
Discovering strength we never knew we had before.
-I am over winter. I wanted to end on a positive note. Seeing as how we are going to have car starting troubles, and contend with winter illnesses, I am just trying to find my silver lining in all this winter wonderland mess.
